I forgot to add the rear shock is a maxton re-worked WP remote reservoir unit and the forks are believed to be maxton reworked too.

I Have spoken to Dave Pearce of tigcraft fame today. (www.tigcraft.com)

He has confirmed the frame was one of two of that type made in 1989.
He since went onto produce the alloy beam chassis utilising an indented extrusion spar mated to CNC engine plates.

he believes this early chassis still has potential to be a race winner even today over 20 years later. The machine is dimensionally tiny like a Honda rs125.

I think the all up weight with xbr engine is 108 kg, it could be considerably lighter and made more lively with the use of a newer 450 honda engine as popular today.

If anyone is interested in the rolling chassis minus engine and pipe i will consider selling separately.

Dave Pearce is also happy to speak to anyone regarding the chassis as he knows the history of nearly every bike hes made, he can be contacted on: 07887 538598

    cheers

I have taken some pics of the chassis i put together this weekend.

Interestingly i have been in contact with the original owner & rider Bob Dalton who had some success with this machine, i believe it won some British Championship races.
After Bobs ownership it spent a few seasons racing in the states with its new American owner, it was purchased and shipped back to the UK after that.

Bob is happy for me to pass his details onto any prospective buyer too, if anyone wishes to know more about the bikes track pedigree.
